Legal · Terms

The terms - stated the way lawyers state their own.

Nine sections. Each one deliberately narrow, so it says what it means. Where the product supports diligence (deadlines, templates, time), the terms describe that support as support - not as a substitute for the firm's own judgment.

01
Who may use the product

Ayansar is offered as a case-management platform to law firms, in-house legal teams, and individual practitioners engaged in the practice of law. Access to a workspace is intended for the firm or practitioner that created it, and for the individuals that firm authorises.

Use of the product does not create an attorney-client relationship between the platform and the users of a firm's workspace.

02
Templates and generated documents

Document assembly templates are provided to help a firm produce filings, motions, notices and correspondence faster. Templates are drafting starting points - they are not legal advice, and they do not substitute for a lawyer's professional judgment on whether a filing is appropriate for the matter, the jurisdiction, or the client.

The firm remains responsible for reviewing every assembled document before it is filed, sent, or relied on. Template coverage is stated as it is at each point in time; where a mapping is not yet complete for a specific bench or statute, the product makes that visible rather than substituting a generic form.

03
Deadlines and the deadline lens

The deadline lens is designed to distinguish legal-consequence deadlines from routine reminders and to escalate as those deadlines approach. It is a tool to support the firm's own diligence, not a substitute for it.

A firm should treat the deadline lens as an aid alongside its own docket practice. The platform does not accept liability for deadlines missed by the firm, but the product is built specifically so that legal-consequence dates are not lost in a routine feed.

04
Trial period

A free trial provides access to the matter engine for evaluation. Trials do not auto-convert to a paid plan without the firm's explicit acceptance. If the firm decides not to proceed at trial end, exported data and account closure are available on request.

05
Fees, invoicing and taxes

Paid plans are billed on the cycle agreed at subscription - monthly or annual. Invoices are issued through the platform and include applicable taxes as required by the jurisdiction of the firm.

Late payments do not affect the firm's obligations to its own clients, but continued access to the product may be paused where fees remain unpaid past the agreed cure period. Data export remains available in that state.

06
Confidentiality and privilege

Information a firm brings into its workspace is treated as confidential. Where that information is subject to attorney-client privilege, the product's access model and support access controls are designed to preserve that privilege - see the privacy policy for the operational description.

The platform's employees do not access matter content in the ordinary course. Where support access is required to resolve a specific issue, it is granted in-product, on request or with explicit consent, and revoked as soon as the issue is closed.

07
Acceptable use

The product may not be used to attempt to circumvent its access controls, to test the product's security without a prior written engagement, to submit content the firm has no right to submit, or to reverse-engineer the underlying model behaviour to construct a competing service. Ordinary lawful use of the product for legal work is expected and unrestricted.

08
Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, liability for the product is limited to fees paid for the affected period. The product is provided as a diligent, professional tool - it is not an insurance policy against legal risk, and it does not indemnify a firm for the legal outcomes of its matters.

09
Term and closure

A firm may close its account at any time. On closure, data is exported or deleted according to the firm's election, within the operational window set out during onboarding. Termination of the agreement does not affect fees that had already accrued at the closure date.
